The king’s roadside assist

As long as you’re within SA borders, we’ll be there to help you out for up to 3 incidents per year, per car that’s listed on your policy schedule.

The nitty gritty:

  • With a break down, your car will be towed to a preferred place for repair or safekeeping.
  • If you get a flat tyre then we’ll send someone to change it at both roadside and non-roadside locations.
  • If you run out of petrol we’ll bring you 10l of petrol (charged at cost) for a maximum of 2 incidents a year.
  • If you have a flat battery, we’ll be there to jump-start your car.
  • We’ll cover sending out a locksmith if your keys are locked in your car.
  • If you breakdown 100km far from home we’ll cover accommodation for the night or a taxi service.

The king’s accident assist

Accidents aren’t the happiest of topics, but if something happens, then we’ll be there. That’s just how it works.

The nitty gritty:

  • We’ll arrange for your car to be towed to a preferred place of repair.
  • We’ll arrange for transport home or place of work for you, the driver, and passengers.

The king’s medical assist

Look, the truth of it is that your safety is our concern. Always. So if you need medical assistance after an accident and don’t know what to do, then call us on 0860 50 50 50 and let us take care of it. It’s completely free within SA borders and we’ll help you as best we can.

The nitty gritty:

  • We’ll cover the cost of an emergency transfer to the nearest hospital.
  • We’ll cover the cost of transferring you to a different hospital if the treating doctors or medical assistance directors recommend this.
  • We’ll transport you to a hospital closer to home, if the current hospital don’t have the facilities to do so, within 24 hours of the accident occurring.

The king’s home assist

All of our royal clients who have home contents or buildings cover qualify for our home assist benefits, which allows for 3 incidents per year, per insured address that’s noted on your King Price policy schedule.

There’s no need to leave that window pane broken, suffer through a dripping tap, or use the back entrance to your home because your key for the front broke.

The nitty gritty:

  • This benefit includes cover for the call-out fee and 1 hour’s labour for the services of plumbers, electricians, and locksmiths.
