Our royal car warranty insurance ensures that car parts that fail are repaired or replaced… So that your car is back on the road as soon as superhumanly possible. That’s our responsibility. It’s your responsibility to make sure that these parts are serviced and maintained as they should be.

What does mechanical/ electrical failure mean?
This refers to when car parts fail suddenly and unexpectedly due to defects in the mechanical or electrical system.
What’s an authorised repairer?
An authorised repairer is a manufacturer-approved or RMI-registered service centre.
Why do I need the car’s up-to-date service history?
In order to keep your car’s parts covered under our car warranty, you need to service your car according to requirements and intervals given by the manufacturer.
When will my car warranty end?
Your car warranty will end when you sell the insured car, it’s written-off, stolen, or hi-jacked (and not found), or whenever you tell us to cancel your policy.
Is there a waiting period?
Yes, there is. Unfortunately, we don’t cover damage that happens before, or within the first 30 days of you taking out your policy. From days 30 – 60, we’ll pay out 25% of the cost.
Where’s my car covered under car warranty?
Your car’s covered in SA, Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Eswatini (Swaziland), Malawi and Zimbabwe.
Do I need car insurance to have car warranty?
Nope, you don't need car insurance to have car warranty cover.
